As a universal language, music connects people from all walks of life, transcending barriers and cultural differences. The music and arts ministry provides inspiration to all who seek to express God’s grace and love through music and arts. The music and worship arts ministry gives voice to hope, peace, inspiration, and the grace and goodness of a loving God.
Children's Music
Joyful Children's Choir (K-5th)
Wednesdays 5 - 6 p.m.
Children build their music reading skills and develop healthy singing habits. They learn breathing techniques, singing posture, and tone production. This group also focuses on building a beautiful unison sound and then learning part- singing. In addition, children learn how to ring handchimes. Through ringing, children learn to increase their independent thinking, listening skills, attention span, physical coordination, and personal expression. Children sing or play several times in worship throughout the year.

Adult Choirs
Chancel Choir
Wednesdays 7 - 8:30 p.m.
Made up of talented and non- auditioned community of dedicated singers, the chancel choir help lead worship at the 11:00 am traditional service. Made up of all ages, they provide meaningful, quality, music in many genres. Their primary goal is to joyfully lead in worship in hopes the congregation might experience God in powerful ways.
Rehearsals: Wednesdays from 7-8:30p.m. in the Music Suite.

Contemporary Praise Band
This is a group of dedicated musicians and vocalists who lead worship at the 9:00 a.m. contemporary service. The band finds new musical expressions aiming to engage the congregation and creating a sense of connection between worshippers and the divine. Vocalists and all instrumentalists are welcome. Rehearsals: 7-8:30p.m. in Asbury.

House of Levi
Wednesdays 6 - 7 p.m.
A men’s vocal ensemble that meets weekly for fellowship and singing. They sing a wide range of popular and contemporary tunes including a variety of acapella music. They sing occasionally throughout the year at the 11:00 am traditional worship service. House of Levi desire to see the manifest presence of heaven revealed in worship through Jesus Christ.

Bella Voce
Wednesdays 6:15 - 7 p.m.
Formed in the fall of 2015, Bella Voce is a women’s vocal ensemble led by Diane West. The ensemble is open to all women, and repertoire consists of music from the classical tradition, works from contemporary composers, and a wide variety of hymn settings.

Jubilation Ringers
Sundays 1:45 - 2:45 p.m.
This is a handbell group that reflects 1 Corinthians 12:12: “Just as the body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.” Each member of a handbell ensemble contributes specific notes to the musical line. No prior experience is necessary to become part of this ensemble. This group generally ring hymn tunes, gospel, and classical tunes. They occasionally play throughout the year at the 11:00 am traditional worship service.

Tech Team
This team is made up of a group of volunteers of all ages who help set up and operate audio and visual equipment, ensuring that worshippers have a positive and meaningful experience. If you love technology or interested in joining this team, please contact: Dr. Ernest Boamah
Acolyte and Crucifer Ministry
A ministry that is a step towards discipleship for children from fourth through sixth grade. Children learn more about the liturgical calendar and colors, the importance of worship, church signs and symbols. There is a six-week training course in the Fall in the Wesley Sanctuary.

Concert Series
The Music and Worship Arts Ministries presents concerts throughout the year by local and out of state artists. Concert series is a wonderful way of bringing music to the church family and community and creating a memorable experience. Ranging from instrumental and ensemble recitals, band, choirs, handbells, and many more, these artists will also share their faith journey.
